This coin with a face value of 400 euros reproduces on the reverse details from the paintings entitled Adam and Eve, both painted in 1507 by Albert Durer. The paintings are housed in the Prado Museum. The obverse recreates a scene from the work Self-portrait painted in 1498 by Albert Durer. The work is housed in the Prado Museum.
