Reproduction of a coin in proof quality, encapsulated and presented in a jewelry box. The coin is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity issued by the FNMT-RCM.
This coin of 400 euros face value, reproduces on its back images of the paintings entitled “Adam” and “Eve”, both painted in 1507 by Alberto Durero, which are kept in the Museo Nacional del Prado. On the obverse side there is an image of the work entitled “Self-Portrait”, painted in 1498 by Alberto Durero, which is kept in the Museo Nacional del Prado.
In 2013, the Royal Spanish Mint began a multi-year series to publicize the treasures of the various Spanish museums. In this first series we find works from the Museo Nacional del Prado that are reproduced on the coins that make up this Collection with paintings by Velázquez, Rafael, Titian, Vicente López and Alberto Durero.
