In 2013, the Royal Spanish Mint began a multi-year series to publicize the treasures of the various Spanish museums. In this second series, we find works from the Museo Nacional del Prado and the First Cathedral of Toledo, which are reproduced on the coins that make up this collection with paintings by El Greco, Goya, Rubens and Antonio van Dyck.
